Lisa Byrne Wernauthe Volcano lodge is not far from Arenas del mar (which is where we stayed) - the hanging bridges are amazing (that's where we saw the eyelash vipers) - we also did our own volcano hike - bring dollar store rain ponchos with you! The safari float they say is amazing but we didn't get to go on it. If you have a telescope or binoculars bring them and also invest in or bring a good camera (if you want good pics of the wildlife as some of the snakes etc. are off the trails). I could go on and on - we love that place!

Vinnie Pinzone We have acknowledged the guidance released from President Obama today, and see it as very good news for our Soldiers. All soldiers are to be home by the end of the year. With this good news we do ask a couple of things from you as the family member. We now have an end date for the return process but we do not have any additional information at this time. We will continue to provide updates as we receive them. Eventually, we will get to the point when we will know the time frame for your soldiers return and ultimately provide you with the arrival date and time.

Vinnie Pinzonegoes along with this post i just read from a friend: I was going to complain about how hot it is... then I realized that at least: 1) it isn't 109 degrees; 2) I'm not 5,700 miles from home; 3) I'm not dressed in a full BDU uniform and helmet and carrying 70+ lbs.; and 4) there is very little chance that anyone will shoot at me or that I might drive over a bomb in the road today!
